Sundance Realty opened for business March of 2008 – right before the US housing bubble burst. It was not the best time to start a real estate brokerage – unless you're doing things differently.
The underlying concept was building a brokerage that was attractive to independent Oregon brokers with a single, low fee on closed transactions, leaving thousand more in their pocket. No desk fees, no tech fees, no hidden fees. True transparency was our goal.
Agents are also free to negotiate their commission with their clients. Free to brand themselves. Free to build a successful team under the Sundance umbrella.
Sundance joined the four major MLS's in Oregon, allowing our brokers to work just about anywhere.
They were also the first in Oregon to use online-transaction management. It was still in it's infancy.
